Developing and Using Scenarios
Though the future cannot be predicted, GBN has always believed that developments can be better anticipated through scenario thinking and planning. A pioneer in scenario consulting and training, GBN's scenario planning process helps organizations explore multiple futures and create more robust long-term strategies.
GBN's Developing and Using Scenarios course provides an in-depth introduction to scenario planning. Through hands-on experience, you will learn how to craft scenarios and then integrate those scenarios into strategic planning. In small groups, you will work through each step of the scenario planning process: identifying the focal question, data gathering and interviewing, generating story lines and logics, developing and presenting rich and challenging scenarios, and using scenarios to inform strategic thinking.
Each DUS course is taught by senior GBN practitioners with a wide range of experience in scenario planning and strategy engagements.
"DUS is a great course, a great setting, a great process to learn, a great network of people to meet, and a great way to open your mind about the world — all in less than one week."
