Developing and Using Scenarios (DUS)

Public and Onsite Courses [See Schedule]

GBN's primary training course introduces participants to all the basics of scenario planning, including identifying the focal question, data gathering and interviewing, generating storylines and logics, developing and presenting rich and challenging scenarios, and using scenarios to inform strategic conversations. Participants learn by applying the techniques and tools of scenario planning to real-life strategic questions.

GBN offers onsite, customized Developing and Using Scenarios courses for 10 or more participants from an organization. We also run an open enrollment training course for individuals several times a year.

Scenarios to Strategy

Onsite Only

GBN's three-day, advanced training course is for strategists and managers who are already familiar with scenarios and want to build their organization's internal scenario planning capacity. The course covers initiating and managing scenario projects, using scenarios to generate strategic options, and testing and refining strategies through a scenaric lens.

Scenarios to Strategy is only available as an onsite program for 10 or more participants; no public course is offered.
